Appointments typically take 15 to 30 minutes, including consultation and aftercare. Timing varies based on hair density and client needs; please arrive with clean, dry skin so your esthetician can work efficiently and comfortably.
Trim hair to about a quarter inch, avoid heavy creams or oils before your appointment, and exfoliate gently 24 to 48 hours beforehand. Also avoid sun exposure and aggressive skin treatments for best results and comfort.
Some discomfort is normal, especially for first timers, but the sensation is brief. Our estheticians use quick techniques, calming aftercare, and can provide tips or topical numbing products to minimize pain if desired.
Most clients see regrowth in four to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. With regular waxing, hair often grows back finer and sparser, extending smooth results over time.
We don’t recommend shaving between waxing sessions because it removes the proper hair length needed for effective waxing. If necessary, lightly trim—but avoid shaving to preserve waxing benefits and prolong smooth results.
Avoid waxing if you have sunburn, open wounds, active skin infections, recent chemical peels, or are using strong retinoids. Consult with us if you have rosacea, eczema, or other sensitivities to determine suitability.
