How the Rezo Method Works
Rezo is a curl-specific haircut approached here as a shaping process tuned to each client’s natural curl pattern. At booking and consultation we focus on your stated curl type and overall density so the stylist can plan a balanced shape that works with how your curls fall and behave in everyday wear.
This method emphasizes individualized shaping rather than a one-size routine. Because each head of curls responds differently, the stylist makes decisions about layering and overall silhouette based on your curl characteristics, lifestyle, and styling preferences so the finished shape integrates with your routine.
Booking and Curl Identification
Clients are asked to identify their curl type when booking so we can assign the right stylist and prepare for the cut. Providing your curl description and any recent photos helps us anticipate density and texture, coordinate appointment length, and make sure consultation time is focused on the best shape for your curls.
Price for this service starts at $159; an additional charge applies for long or thick hair. If you commute through Red Bank or plan around a Count Basie event, let us know when booking—we accommodate evening and weekend requests to fit local schedules and event timing.
Local Care and Seasonal Factors
Shrewsbury’s four-season climate and humid summers influence how curls behave—humidity, indoor heating and coastal air affect frizz and definition. During consultation we discuss your typical environment and maintenance routine so the cut supports your real-life styling needs rather than an idealized look that only works in the salon.
We’re on Broad Street in downtown Shrewsbury, convenient for commuters using the Red Bank NJ Transit station or drivers on Route 35. If you live in Red Bank, Little Silver, Fair Haven, Rumson, Middletown or Eatontown, mention local preferences or event plans so we can time your cut for outings like waterfront events or Count Basie shows.
