Before and after care
For best results, hair should be allowed to grow to the ideal length before your appointment. At least 2 weeks of hair growth is ideal for you to get the best results. Hair should be 1/4 to 1/2 inch long. Regular exfoliation and daily moisturizing in the lead-up to your visit will improve adhesion and reduce the chance of irritation, but do not exfoliate within 24 hours of a service.
If you are taking medications that increase skin exfoliation or otherwise compromise the skin — including Retin A, Accutane, Avage, Tazorac, Differin or similar drugs — we cannot perform hair removal. Likewise, waxing is not performed on skin that recently had laser treatments, plastic surgery, or a sunburn. Follow post-wax care instructions to soothe the skin and reduce ingrown hairs.
