Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about LCN Removal.

Most LCN Removal appointments take 30 to 60 minutes depending on nail thickness and condition. We prioritize gentle techniques over speed, so some cases may require extra time for safe soaking, filing, and treatment to protect the natural nail.

When performed correctly, LCN Removal should not damage nails. Our technicians use controlled soaking, gentle mechanical methods, and protective protocols to avoid over-filing, stripping, or dehydration, preserving strength and reducing the risk of long-term thinning.

We typically recommend waiting 24–48 hours to allow nails to rehydrate and your nail plate to stabilize. If the natural nail looks healthy, a light manicure or polish may be applied; full enhancements should wait until nails are fully recovered.

Keep nails moisturized with cuticle oil, avoid harsh chemicals for several days, and wear gloves for chores. Use a gentle nail strengthener and schedule follow-up treatments if nails feel weak or show peeling for proper recovery.

Policies vary. At Salon CoCo BOND Spa, removal may be included with a refill if performed by us within a certain timeframe; otherwise, a removal fee applies. Please check your booking confirmation or call to confirm pricing before your appointment.

Mild sensitivity is normal. Apply cuticle oil twice daily, avoid rough manicures, and use a nail strengthener. If pain, severe redness, persistent peeling, or signs of infection occur, contact the salon promptly so we can assess and provide appropriate care or medical referral.
