What to expect in consultation
This service is performed by a Master Artist and is offered by consultation only. The consultation is an opportunity to describe your desired gradient, review your hair length, thickness and condition, and go over any previous color history. Because no price is recorded on the menu, a customized cost is quoted only after this assessment.
During the meeting the Master Artist maps a plan that balances your goal with hair health. If a more dramatic change is requested, the artist will outline trade-offs—such as staged steps versus a single session—and describe follow-up or maintenance needs so you can choose the safest, most suitable approach.
How results are determined
The final look depends on several practical limits: your natural base color, existing color treatments, hair texture and overall condition. These variables affect how light the hair can be lifted and which tones will appear. The Master Artist uses that assessment to recommend achievable color goals rather than promising a specific outcome.
Because every head of hair responds differently, the artist may suggest a phased approach to reach a desired level of brightness while protecting integrity. This planning reduces risk and lets you weigh the trade-off between immediacy and long-term hair health before a price is set.
Scheduling and local convenience
Salon CoCo BOND Spa sits in downtown Shrewsbury on the Broad Street commercial corridor, convenient to Route 35 and commuters traveling through Red Bank NJ Transit station. We promote evening, weekend and express services for busy families and professionals, making it realistic to schedule a consultation before or after work or local events.
If you’re planning color for a specific outing—Count Basie Center events, Red Bank waterfront evenings or Monmouth Park race days—book early and mention the date in your consultation. The Master Artist will advise timing so the final look aligns with your event without compromising hair condition.
