Treatment process and sensations
The Signature Hydrafacial deeply cleanses, exfoliates, and extracts impurities while infusing nourishing ingredients to hydrate the skin. The full service lasts 45 MINUTES; during that time your esthetician moves through cleansing, targeted exfoliation and extraction, then applies hydrating serums chosen for your skin’s current needs.
Clients typically feel gentle suction during extraction and a cooling, hydrating finish as serums are applied. There is usually minimal downtime after treatment, so many visitors from nearby Red Bank or commuters stopping by after transit can return to their day with fresh-looking skin.
Customizations, upgrades and packages
The Signature service can be upgraded to Platinum or Deluxe and series package options are available to support ongoing maintenance. Your esthetician will recommend whether a single session, an upgraded treatment, or a series package best fits your goals during a consultation at the start of your appointment.
Choosing a single treatment versus a package is a trade-off between immediacy and continuity. Packages support regular maintenance and may reduce per-visit cost; upgrades add focused steps or enhancements. We’ll discuss which path aligns with your schedule and priorities, especially if you’re booking around local events.
Contraindications and scheduling notes
Certain medications and recent procedures mean we cannot perform a Hydrafacial. If you use Retin A, Accutane, Avage, Tazorac, Differin or other treatments that increase exfoliation, or have had recent laser treatment, plastic surgery, or a sunburn, we cannot perform peels, HydraFacials or hair removal services until cleared.
Please tell us if you are pregnant: we cannot perform a massage within the first trimester and will not perform peels, HydraFacials or reflexology for the duration of pregnancy. For busy families and commuters, we offer evening, weekend and express scheduling to fit around Route 35 commutes, Red Bank NJ Transit travel, and nearby events at the Count Basie Center.
