Get answers to common questions about Updo (Shampoo + Blowdry) – Master Artist.
A Master Artist updo with shampoo and blowdry typically requires 60–90 minutes, depending on hair length, complexity, and desired embellishments. Please allow extra time for consultation, accessories, or special requests to ensure a flawless finish.
Yes, small accessories are usually included; larger or custom pieces may incur a fee or require prior notice. Bring inspiration photos and any personal pieces so we can securely integrate them during styling for stability and a polished result.
We offer trials subject to availability and recommend them for weddings or major events. Trials allow testing styles, accessories, and hold. Book at least one to two weeks in advance and bring outfit and hair references.
Extensions are optional. If extra length or volume is needed for your chosen updo, we can integrate clip-ins or tape-ins prior to styling. Discuss this ahead of time so we can plan, match color, and provide cost estimates.
Arrive with clean, dry hair unless instructed otherwise. Avoid heavy oils or fresh color within 48 hours. Bring accessory pieces and reference photos, and wear a button-up top to prevent disturbing the finished updo when dressing.
Shoulder-length hair or longer is ideal for most Master Artist updos; however, shorter hair can be styled with creative techniques or extensions. Consult with your stylist for bespoke solutions tailored to your texture and desired look.
